Overview

GenieATM 6000 Mobile Series is a real-time traffic mining system for GPRS or CDMA2000 IP-based networks. It collects and classifies data from in-line traffic, xFlow, Radius or SNMP, and generates numerous analysis reports to monitor network performance and subscriber behaviors. The system utilizes GenieATM 6400 Probe to capture and analyze both control and data plane packets in GPRS or CDMA2000 core networks, recognizes up to L7 application, and exports traffic statistic data to GenieATM 6500 Collector. Furthermore, through intelligent Mobile Traffic model built in GenieATM 6700 Controller, the system automatically generates various types of reports for traffic visibility of user equipment, subscriber groups, user behaviors, locations, applications, services, or popular websites; measures not only traffic amount but also network quality and on-line population such as RTT and number of subscribers, respectively. Moreover, the system also provides powerful Snapshot and Forensic tools for on-line troubleshooting. GenieATM Mobile solution offers up to L7 traffic visibility of mobile network services, including WAP, RTSP, VoIP, IM, P2P, HTTP, SMTP, POP3, Video applications, Stock applications, Game applications, News group applications, etc. For specific applications, GenieATM Mobile can provide further in-depth analysis, such as:

• For HTTP: analyzes the URL, hostname, method (Delete, Get, Post, Put, etc.), content type, status code, etc.
• For WSP: analyzes the URI, method (Delete, Get, Head, etc.), content type, status code, etc.
• For MMS: analyzes the URI, sender, receiver (To, Cc, Bcc, etc.), response status code, etc.
• For FTP: analyzes the file name, command (store, retrieve, etc.) etc.
