| (Taipei — July 17, 2006) –Genie Network Resource Management Inc.（GenieNRM Inc.）today announced the new version of the traffic analysis and security protection solution for its GenieATM Enterprise appliances that now provides more built-in traffic analysis models and reporting options.
The new embedded interface-based default analysis could support traffic monitoring and analysis up to 1280 interfaces. In addition to the traffic summary on interfaces and information detail on each interface, version 4.5 now supports new built-in reports such as ‘Top-Talkers’ and abundant ‘Attribute Reports’ per interface. This will enable network managers obtain the network-wide visibility not only form the higher network and service layers, but also from the most detailed statistics of the low, individual device and interface layer.
In GenieATM Enterprise 4.5, adding to the previous stacked line-charts for continuous traffic monitoring and pie-charts for instant top-N analysis, new report display formats such as bar-charts are supported. A new analysis report of ‘Trend Analysis’ is also provided, which can give network managers better utilization understanding of their own networks to optimize the enterprise network capacity planning.
In order to provide the better manageability and enhance the MSP concept in the design of GenieATM, version 4.5 provides schedulable off-line reports dispatching by e-mail. Via this function, the high level network managers can configure to receive daily/weekly/monthly reports to get a holistic view of the network operation status easily.
