GenieATM Traffic Mining Solution from Genie Networks is a flow-based traffic analysis solution that delivers a real-time, network-wide view on traffic flows and network behaviors for service providers and large enterprises.
                                     
GenieATM offers intelligent flow appliances to perform traffic collection, classification, analysis, and anomaly detection. With distributed architecture design and centralized management, GenieATM system can be easily deployed in a large-scale network, and provides traffic visibility over different traffic models such as subnetworks, ASes, MPLS VPNs, websites or subscribers by leveraging various information sources.

ISP Series: GenieATM 6000-ISP

GenieATM 6000-ISP provides real-time network-wide visibility on IP traffic flows and BGP routing across a carrier-grade IP network, helping xSP's decision-making in capacity planning and peering optimization, and securing the network quality against anomaly traffic and DDoS attacks over entire network. With built-in ISP network modeling intelligence, GenieATM 6000-ISP offers real-time TopN and traffic matrix analysis for pre-defined subnetworks/peers/VPNs or rule-based scopes over IPv4/IPv6 and MPLS networks. For a large-scale network, GenieATM 6000-ISP provides the high-performance Flow Load Balancer (FLB) solution, helping to build a flow center for managing flow sharing among different systems. GenieATM 6000-ISP also provides Managed Service Provider (MSP) solution to extend the traffic visibility to xSP's VIP customers, enabling the value-added services of traffic management.

Enterprise Series: GenieATM 6200

GenieATM 6200 provides flow-based solution for understanding usage of a large-scale enterprise network, detecting malicious network behaviors, and troubleshooting network problems. With built-in enterprise network modeling intelligence, GenieATM 6200 offers real-time traffic visibility for pre-defined subnetworks/servers/user groups or rule-based scopes over IP network. To trace back attacking sources and anomalies, GenieATM 6200 introduces the Flow Forensics (GenieATM 6203 FF) solution to store raw flow records and drill down to historical traffic for identifying suspicious traffic retrospectively.

Mobile Network Series: GenieATM 6000-3G 

A real-time solution for Subscriber-based Traffic Analysis over GPRS/CDMA2000 core networks

GenieATM 6000-3G provides real-time traffic mining solution over an IP-based GPRS or CDMA2000 core network, extending mobile operator's traffic visibility from flow-based to subscriber-based. The system utilizes GenieATM Info Extractor for capturing control packets in a mobile network, extracting attributes of subscriber and application, and exporting information to GenieATM 6000-3G Collector. With built-in mobile network modeling intelligence, GenieATM 6000-3G offers real-time TopN and traffic matrix analysis for services/locations/URLs/subscriber groups/user equipments, and measures not only traffic amount but also network quality such as RTT and on-line population such as number of subscribers. For on-line troubleshooting, GenieATM 6000-3G provides the powerful snapshot tool and the forensic tool Subscriber Viewer to locate network problems efficiently.

Info Extractor: GenieATM 6400

An intelligent information source that provides L7 visibility for GenieATM system

GenieATM 6400 captures packets and extracts information from IP-based networks, extending the traffic visibility of GenieATM system to L7 applications and user attributes. With built-in packet inspection engine, GenieATM 6400 supports decapsulating tunneled packets in VLAN/GRE/PPP/GTP, recognizing up to L7 applications, retrieving subscriber attributes inside RADIUS or GTP/A10/A11 packets, and exporting informative traffic flows to GenieATM Collector. For performance analysis, GenieATM 6400 also measures network quality such as TCP round trip time (RTT) and population such as numbers of on-line users and service requests. For on-line troubleshooting, GenieATM 6400 provides the forensic feature by mirroring packets of specified subscribers to GenieATM system. 

GenieATM Info Extractor solution in a large-scale network can be cost-effective, since GenieATM 6400 appliances are deployed for information extraction only while network-wide traffic flows are still collected by GenieATM 6000-ISP/6000-3G system.
