| Overview |
GenieNTG 2100
provides functions as the analysis of users’ behaviors
on the Internet, the real-time monitoring of abnormal network
traffic, the analysis reports of historic traffic, and the prediction
of traffic trend. Those functions already include all needs
of analyzing network traffic. In addition, you could report
the result of the network flow analysis through various formats
supported such as (standard, comparison, and trend) report,
(daily, weekly, and monthly) report, and so on.
Generally, GenieNTG 2100 collects IP flow information
from core switches of the backbone network and routers which
connect to outside network and are commonly applied to Transit
Traffic Analysis, Peering Traffic Analysis, Inspection for DDoS
Attack, and Routing Load Balance Analysis.
With
different capacities, several models of GenieNTG 2100 are
provided. GenieNTG 2101 which can support two routers / switches
for analysis will be suitable for campuses and enterprises.
And GenieNTG 2103, 2105, and 2107 which can support multiple
routers/switches will be better for xSPs. Actually, GenieNTG
2100 has become the major tool of analyzing network flow traffic
for the most of large-scaled institutions including campuses,
governments, banking corporations, Network Operators, and
Carriers.

 Appliance
Architecture:It is easy to install
and set up, just like a plug-and-play device. Users can
easily use GenieNTG 2100 without the need of any extra equipment,
like software, hardware, or any extra database. - Web-based Interface:It
provides a web-based user interface so that user can login
at anytime from anywhere to operate GenieNTG 2100 Traffic
Analyzer and read the instant traffic analysis reports.
- Command Line Interface:It
provides remote SSH access to operate the system configuration
setup and upgrade.
- User Account Management: The
users need authentication and can be controlled by different
levels of authorities. Five accessing policies are applied
in GenieNTG 2100: “Admin”, “Super User”,
“Snapshot User”, and “Viewer”. “Administrator”
owns the privilege to maintain user accounts. For “Viewer”,
it can only be allowed to login GenieNTG 2100 for viewing
the selected reports.
- Multi-lingual Support:
Traditional Chinese, Simplified Chinese,
Japanese and English.
- Flow Record Collection:
NetFlow® V1,
V5, V7, and sFlow® are supported.
- Raw Data:
Administrators can set
the data-preserving duration. Overdue data will be archived
or deleted automatically to reserve hard disk space.
- Data Storage:Users
can store raw data, report data in a built-in hard disk
or an external NFS storage device.
- Simple & Flexible Deployment:
Users only need to make
sure the IP connection between the flow exporter and GenieNTG
2100 is okay. There is no need to change users’ network.
- Flow Forwarding:Redirect
the received NetFlow/sFlow data to other NetFlow/sFlow collectors.
- Distributed
Global Traffic Analysis:The
integration of multiple GenieNTG to provide a global traffic
analysis solution for large xSP.
