Interop is the leading global technology event, bringing together ICT and business leaders to see all of the latest technologies in action. Interop has always been an upfront technology event by encompassing the leading technology of the time and functioning as a place to connect the leading professionals. A network called “ShowNet” powering the Interop event has been built by interoperating the network equipments and services selected from Interop Tokyo’s exhibitors. This year, ShowNet presents the theme, “Face the 2011”: visitors can experience the dynamic view of how servers and personal computers are giving up its role to anywhere-anytime devices as technology’s ideal concept is shifting its phase to the reality. A GenieATM 6000 is installed at the ShowNet NOC to provide the ShowNet traffic visibility.

Fivefront, GenieNRM’s business partner in Japan, is participating in the Interop Tokyo 2009 at Makuhari Messe, from June 10th through 12th. At Fivefront booth, a mitigation solution using flow technology will be demonstrated. You can see how to mitigate DoS attacks with GenieATM 6000 and Cisco Guard through the live demo. Our GenieATM 6000 is also installed at the ShowNet NOC and is contributing the Interop show to monitor the entire live network traffic at the hall.
